Linda Kellett has over twenty year's Human Resource experience, sixteen of those with BDO Dunwoody LLP. As a Senior HR Manager, located in the Firm's National Office in Toronto, Linda provides her expertise in the areas of recruiting, compensation, performance management and project management. Linda has been responsible for the update and development of policies and procedures specific to the Firm's IT staff employed across Canada. Linda also provides project management support, both for the region and firm - which most recently has focused on the development and implementation of performance management software. In 1995 Linda completed the requirements for her Certified Administrative Management (C.A.M.) designation, and in 2002 obtained her Canadian Personnel Professional (CPP) designation which recognizes human resource management skills. Linda has participated in "Real Time Coaching" and is a member of the Canadian Management Professional Association and Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario. We would like to welcome Linda as the new Regional Director for Toronto with IPM.

Barbara Andrews-Hryniw is currently Staff Administrative Supervisor for
The City of Calgary, Recreation. As part of the Business Services'
Leadership Team, her current role is to implement and coordinate
proactive recruitment and retention initiatives and maintain a positive
and productive work environment. In addition to her Registered
Professional Recruiters designation through the Institute of
Professional Management, she has completed her Business Management
Certificate through the University of Calgary as well as the Human
Resources Certificate program. As part of the Business Services'
Leadership Team, her current role is to implement and coordinate

and productive work environment.

Deb Trockstad has spent approximately 20 years in the Learning & Development arena in roles that have encompassed retail, banking and now the Engineering, Geomatics and Planning sector. In her diverse background, Deb has been successful in strategically aligning all programs to deliver sustainable and measurable results to the businesses she has worked with. Deb is currently employed with Western based Focus Corporation as Manager of Learning & Development. She is responsible for developing and delivering all training programs, for creating a solid Learning & Development strategy and framework that incorporates evaluation and measurement components and for developing a Leadership program linked to an evolving Succession strategy. Deb was happy to earn her both her RPT and RPR designations with IPM to help keep her skills polished for her challenging role.
| Brandi Babando, RPR - Maritimes Regional Director DownEast Communications, Dartmouth, NS
Brandi Babando is currently the Human Resources Manager for DownEast Communications in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. With a background in retail, operations and management, Brandi made the move to the human resource field in 2003. As her education background is in other fields of study, she is currently working towards her Human Resources Certificate at Saint Mary’s University, which she expects to achieve in April of 2008. In her current position, she oversees employee health and wellness, human relations, compensation and policy related initiatives, as well as taking part in facilitating Orientation and Leadership Training.
| Carol-Anne Axford. RPR - Maritimes Regional Co-Chair Nova Scotia Community College, Halifax, NS
Carol-Anne Axford has been the Manager, HR Consulting at the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) since May 2004. Prior to moving to NSCC, Carol-Anne spent almost 20 years working for the Nova Scotia Provincial Government. She spent approximately 17 years with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice where she provided generalist advice, facilitated and co-authored training sessions, and assisted in negotiating Collective Agreements. She also spent hree years with the Nova Scotia Public Service Commission where she classified and evaluated bargaining unit and excluded positions using a variety of classification methodologies, and monitored the provincial lay-off process.
Carol-Anne’s present responsibilities focus on providing service to leaders at the college in the areas of compensation and benefits, recruitment and selection, performance management, disability case management and position classification. She ensures that classification structures and benefits programs support the recruitment and retention of individuals, and provides advice on the application and interpretation of employment provisions for three collective agreements, the employment policy for Managerial Employees, as well as HR programs, policies and practices. Carol-Anne holds a B.A. and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Saint Mary’s University; is a Registered Professional Recruiter and is certified as a Canadian Personnel Professional.

Jane McDonald is the Human Resources Manager for CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta. She leads a strong team of human resources professionals with responsibility for recruitment and staffing, compensation administration, performance management, training and development, and employee relations. Of her more than 35 years’ experience, Jane spent 18 years in Alberta’s active oil and gas industry, and it was in this demanding role that she made the transition from office administration to human resources. To keep pace with her rapidly increasing responsibility, Jane pursued professional development activities, earning her RPR and CHRP designations in 1999, and her CMP in 2004. She hopes to pursue her RAS Designation in 2008.

Mary-Ann McCann is Director at Municipal Solutions. She holds both her CMP and
RPR designations. Mary-Ann is one of the founding members of the Edmonton
Chapter of IPM. She is a dedicated, hardworking, and passionate leader with
strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Mary-Ann thrives in challenging
environments while continually working to set new standards in excellence.
Recently, Mary-Ann has joined in a partnership in Municipal Solutions with
her husband Bret. Mary-Ann's future plans include the development of
policies and procedures for the organization and she hopes to lead Municipal
Solutions to great success.
| Cindy Ziobrowski, RPR - Vancouver Regional Director Meyers Norris Penny, Vancouver, BC
Cindy Ziobrowski is currently the Director of Human Capital Operations with chartered accountancy and business advisory firm, Meyers Norris Penny. While the firm’s head office is in Calgary, Cindy is based in Vancouver and travels as required. Her primary responsibilities include the orientation and training of new regional human capital team members nationally and overseeing the human capital function during mergers and the subsequent office integration. She is also heavily involved leading and participating in strategic human capital projects and initiatives. In addition to her Registered Professional Recruiter designation, Cindy also obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She is also an active volunteer within her community supporting a variety of local organizations.
| Jaime Moore - Ottawa Regional Director Canadian Commercial Corporation, Ottawa, ON
Jaime Moore is currently the Human Resources Advisor at the Canadian Commercial Corporation. In this generalist role, Jaime deals in a number of areas of Human Resources on a daily basis including recruitment and selection, health and safety, work description writing and classification, as well as some labour relations and HR policy development.
Jaime holds a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from the University of Western Ontario as well as a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College. Jaime has also been granted her Certified Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP) from the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations.
Jaime has a generalist background and has held a variety positions in the past with organizations such as Nestlé Canada, The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa, and McConnell HR Consulting.

Eileen is the Office Manager at Extendicare New Orchard Lodge in Ottawa. Extendicare operates 438 long-term care and assisted living facilities across North America and New Orchard Lodge has a staff of 125 and a capacity of 111 beds.
As Office Manager, Eileen uses her business skills to maintain budgets, set goals, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and administer staff benefits, payroll and scheduling, together with the Residents’ Trust accounts. Interpreting and implementing policies, procedures, regulations and standards prescribed by the Ministry of Health, Extendicare, and collective agreements provides a constant challenge. Systems thinking, team work and communication skills are essential in this busy role where customer service is a priority.

Kate Moore is currently HR Generalist for the National Research Council Canada in the Institute for Research in Construction. The Institute for Research in Construction is the leading construction research agency in Canada, developing innovative solutions for the country's largest industry. A graduate of the Business Administration program at Brock University in St. Catharines, ON, she began her career in Human Resources at the Association of Canadian Community Colleges, then worked for the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation as HR Coordinator for the Slots at Rideau Carleton Raceway. Prior to joining the National Research Council, Kate was Manager of the VHA Training and Education Centre in Ottawa.
